The Nail Shop

My nails came off within a week. I went back to have them repaired. The owner did a terrible job, quoted $20 and then inquired about the tip amount, I said $5. Turns out she charged me $45 from my card, my mistake for not checking the receipt. Yet, not even a week later, one of the nails came off again. I will never return to that establishment.

So, my friend and I visited this place, she wanted a full set and a pedicure while I wanted a fill and a pedicure, we clearly stated our preferences but they didn't listen.. She asked for pink and white gel polish, instead she was given dipping powder, the acrylics weren't applied properly as they started lifting just a few days after getting them done!! Our toenails aren't even white anymore. My nails aren't white either. Extremely disappointing, we will not return!!

I visited the salon today and left utterly bewildered.. I've had issues with cuts before, some quite severe, but I kept giving this place the benefit of the doubt.. I can't do that anymore.. not only was I cut deeply under my nails, the technician didn't bother to remove my old color and simply applied the new dip on top.. she used so much acrylic that my nails resemble spoons and are over an eighth of an inch thick.. Nothing was drying, so she just polished over the dip and still charged me the dip price.. now I have to spend three times the amount to get them fixed elsewhere because I refuse to walk around with fingers that look like ogres.. her prices may be reasonable, but if this is the quality you get, it's too reasonable.. It pains me to write this review and end my long-standing patronage with them, but I feel things are deteriorating rather than improving.. buyer beware
