I've frequented this spot for breakfast and enjoyed their burgers for lunch multiple times. The breakfast is consistently delicious, and the burgers and fries are also quite good. With few mom-and-pop eateries nearby, this is a great choice if you're looking to avoid fast food.
I was deeply disappointed by the service here. The kids' meal Mac and cheese and grilled cheese were undercooked, and my husband received his meal long before our daughter got her food. I had to speak up before any action was taken. Additionally, they added gratuity to the bill without any prior notice. I ended up spending $80 on subpar food when I could have had a better meal for less elsewhere.
Lexington lacks options for comfort food restaurants, but there is one standout gem. I dined there twice and was thoroughly satisfied. The Chicken fried steak was hand-breaded, generously portioned, and delicious. The fried chicken on my second visit was exceptional. Although there's a 12-minute wait, it's absolutely worth it. The staff, a mix of seasoned professionals and young servers, work well together. Lexington is fortunate to have this culinary treasure.
