I had an amazing experience today at Hair Haven in Lewiston Idaho. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and only had to wait for about 15 minutes before Sherry, my stylist, attended to me. She took the time to show me various short hairstyles that would complement my wavy hair, and together we found the perfect cut. Sherry's attentive listening and skilled hands resulted in one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Her friendly demeanor and great personality made the whole experience delightful. I highly recommend Hair Haven for anyone looking for quality service at an affordable price. Thank you, Sherry, for brightening my day.
My spouse received a haircut before departing for training tomorrow. Fortunately, we were able to walk in without an appointment. However, we arrived just 7 minutes before Sherry's next appointment, and it seemed like things were rushed. Once the haircut dried, it was evident that it was uneven and did not match the inspirational photo we had shown. Upon contacting the salon, we were offered a chance to come in the next day, but my husband's departure was scheduled for the same day. While the stylist was pleasant, the final result did not resemble what we had requested or the reference photo at all. There was an unblended section at the back and the front was unevenly cut. Midway through, the stylist inquired about our satisfaction, and I expressed my dissatisfaction with the length. Despite her attempt to tidy it up, the haircut still fell short of our expectations. While this style may suit someone else, we had a specific look in mind, especially considering my husband's upcoming training. The uneven front and unblended back gave the haircut a choppy appearance. I would recommend seeking a barber with more expertise in men's hair specifically. Hair Haven might be suitable for trims and washes, but I would not recommend it for men's cuts.
