Unsatisfactory Encounter with Hairclub in Wichita, Kansas
I feel it's crucial for everyone to fully understand the nature of this organization before engaging, as I was somewhat uncertain but leaning towards the notion that it primarily focuses on product promotion. Notably, there are no medical professionals present at this establishment. The staff are trained solely on a product and its sales techniques, offering uniform treatment to all clients akin to the approach of "Proactive" skincare. My visit was prompted by their exposure to numerous cases of hair loss, despite lacking in-depth knowledge of the scientific aspects (bearing in mind they are not medically qualified). My intention was to ascertain if my condition could be attributed to alopecia during the complimentary consultation. However, during this session, I was queried about my previous dermatologist visits. Upon mentioning an upcoming appointment in two weeks, I was promptly informed that the dermatologists would merely prescribe steroids, asserting there is no definitive cure for alopecia, and they would be unable to assist me. Yet, this organization claimed they could provide a solution? An entity devoid of genuine medical expertise in diagnosing hair loss? A facility that overlooks conducting blood tests to identify underlying factors? Can they truly offer me assistance? To my dismay, the consultation was conducted via Zoom as they lacked an in-house consultant. How can a purported "treatment facility" not have a dedicated professional for client consultations? During this virtual interaction, the dermatologist's credibility was once again questioned, reiterating the same statements before recommending a minimum four-month treatment alongside laser therapy, purportedly more effective than conventional medical intervention. The proposed cost for the four-month treatment was $1650, with an additional $680 for laser therapy. The audacity of it all!
