I believe they could have done a better job, considering it had been a while since my last mani-pedi. It was decent, just opted for gel polish. A novel experience. I might wait a while before getting it done again. Hopefully, I can invest in some quality nail polish soon. I enjoy painting my own nails, but it's becoming challenging to do it myself nowadays. I simply wanted a bit of pampering.
We adore how Mia handles our nails. My daughters and I exclusively visit her; she is kind, meticulous, and ensures your nails turn out just as you desire. The wait times can be lengthy, but they strive to accommodate everyone, so patience is key. Despite trying other salons, none match the excellence of Mia and her sister, Lily. Recently went back for a refill and new design, and true to form, Mia did a fantastic job. Updated photos of the latest designs have been added.
I visited on 09-14-23 at 2 pm. I had made an appointment over the phone and was abruptly told to come in, then the lady on the line disconnected. That should've been my initial red flag. Upon arrival, they quoted $50 for a mani-pedi, which I assumed meant $25 for each, reasonable. Throughout my time there, there was minimal interaction, which is okay, given my shyness, but I know some ladies enjoy chatting during treatments. The technician working on my feet was quite rough with the cuticle tool, causing my left big toe to bleed. Even after I got home, there were traces of dried blood. Additionally, my hands were left dry and unattended, as evident in the first photo. At the counter, my total mysteriously increased to $62 from the original $50, a surprising $12 addition. Being shy, I chose not to address it then. On 09-17-23, while showering, the nail polish simply peeled off. Cheap polish but $62. Understandable. This was my final indication to stay away from this place.
