I visited the salon and waited an additional hour and a half before someone inquired about my purpose there. After identifying the reason for my visit, the designated stylist for my hair was absent. I waited another half-hour until she returned, stating, "Oh, I didn't realize you were here for me." She proceeded to work on my hair, asking if I wanted a haircut. I agreed, assuming she was skilled in cutting hair, but she ended up shaving the sides bald without a proper line up. The retwisting process took 2-3 hours, and upon completion, she sprayed enhancement spray on my hairline without a proper alignment, charging me $120 for a botched haircut and retwist. Furthermore, she paused to attend to other clients while working on my hair, leading to a lengthy process. She even cut my hair before completing the retwist, which was not the agreed-upon order of services.
Shea was exceptionally professional and courteous! She did a fantastic job on my daughter's hair and mine. She was punctual for our appointments and provided dedicated service without engaging in distracting phone conversations. Shea focused entirely on us, and we are looking forward to returning for future appointments.
My experience at EGOZ was delightful. The ambiance was inviting and warm, exuding great vibes. The staff was friendly with fantastic personalities. Shea did an outstanding job with my starter locs, and I received immediate compliments on them. In short, thanks to EGOZ Hair Salon, I feel incredibly beautiful right now. Whether they created a masterpiece or a monster, I am loving the new look and can't wait to show it off! ❤️😂🥰
