I invested $150 in a consultation with Dr. Clarke, and it turned out to be one of the most regrettable health decisions I've made. Supporting businesses owned by the indigenous community is important to me, but professionalism and respect are basic expectations. Unfortunately, my appointment in July did not meet these standards. During the initial intake, we discussed my background, including my disability as a deaf individual. Despite noting this on my chart, the doctor assumed I was unemployed due to my disability and skipped over my employment history. Only when I mentioned work-related stress did she realize her mistake, offering a feeble apology. Despite this, I proceeded with the appointment. However, things took a turn for the worse when she questioned my husband's fidelity based on my health issues, completely disregarding my concerns. Feeling disrespected and angered, I left the appointment. The situation worsened when Dr. Clarke delayed writing a prescription for almost two weeks, and failed to respond to my messages promptly. I am appalled by her unprofessionalism and lack of respect, and I strongly advise avoiding this practice. A disappointing experience, deserving of zero stars.
