Mai is highly skilled; I've been a customer since 2006. She excels at pedicures and manicures, taking the necessary time to ensure your nails are cleaned properly. My only complaint is her inconsistent business hours, and since she is the sole worker, the wait times can be extensive. Be prepared to dedicate at least 2 hours for a service that should take 30 minutes.
If I could rate her negatively, I would. She arrived 20 minutes late to her own salon. Upon entering, the place was uncomfortably hot with no functioning air conditioning, just two fans for the entire area. She proceeded to display rude behavior, asking in a hostile tone who was first and what I wanted. When I requested a manicure and pedicure, she questioned if her chair could accommodate me, despite never having an issue before. She then refused to do my pedicure after I had already waited for an hour to arrive. I will not be returning here. Her unprofessionalism and rudeness are unacceptable.
She does a thorough job cleaning nails and takes her time. The only downside is due to being a solo worker, there may be a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it. I've been coming here since I was 5. Every time I'm in town, I make sure to visit her.
