AVOID. I shall not return. Unsure if a new attendant was present, as I have visited this place previously and not seen her. Initially, she mentioned waxing first (a first for me). She traversed the room to fetch the wax on a stick, returning with semi-dry wax applied to me by the time she came back. Then came the threading. She appeared clueless and kept pinching me, prompting me to say "ow" a few times. Instead of instructing me to remove my hand, she lightly tapped it. No conversation at all. She did not clean up the wax or anything and sent me off in that state. She claimed I did not require a trim. (Initial two photos) Upon reaching the car and glancing in the mirror, I was appalled. I returned and pointed out the need for trimming and the patch of hair she missed. She acted as though I was lying until she saw it herself. She inspected me and rectified the issue as per the other attendant's instructions, though I could not comprehend what was said. She proceeded to thread once more and once again pinched me multiple times, this time drawing blood. Without informing me of the cut, she placed a cotton ball on it followed by one soaked in rubbing alcohol, causing a burning sensation on my eyebrows. She abruptly declared she was finished, failing to acknowledge the cut or offer an apology. My brows still appear uneven and poorly shaped, with the added injury. (Final photos) I am currently in the car contemplating how I will manage to display such uneven brows for the next few weeks.
My initial visit was quite satisfactory. Shivani handled my brows, and I am thrilled with the outcome. Given my naturally thick eyebrows, she did an excellent job shaping them with a lovely arch without making them too thin. I will definitely be returning.
I underwent upper lip and underarm waxing. The young attendant was extremely gentle, and the process was painless. I did tear up during the lip threading for those stubborn hairs, but that's just because I'm a bit of a baby, lol. Additionally, the services were quite affordable at $15 for both. I would definitely consider returning!
