It's a lovely spot for family gatherings and picnics during the summer months. Parking remains complimentary until June 1, 2024, and there's plenty of space available. The park is well-maintained, and the staff were courteous to us. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will return whenever I have the opportunity. Additionally, fishing is permitted during the summer season.
A truly delightful escape, this is a great place to relax. It's clean, quiet, and safe, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and tranquility.
The private visit scheduling was very accommodating. This local history museum is curated excellently, evoking many nostalgic memories from my youth. Martin, a knowledgeable guide, exudes a deep passion for the lake and its illustrious past as a renowned American resort. Martin is the author of the definitive book on the history of Lake Hopatcong. I highly recommend this experience.
