SS Lakewood holds a special place in my heart. I make it a point to visit at least once a week instead of ordering online because I have such a fondness for the staff there. Jaidyn is an absolute gem, always well-informed and accommodating. I simply adore her. And Richard, the store manager, is beyond exceptional! He consistently goes the extra mile, maintaining a professional demeanor, and offering invaluable assistance. I recently reached out to this place to schedule an appointment. Upon calling, I was directed to a voicemail, and subsequently received text messages indicating the next available slot would be in September. Given that it is currently May, I find this waiting period to be quite extensive.

I have given this establishment numerous chances to improve their customer service. Over the past 3 years, I have been in and out periodically, but each time, the staff's demeanor has been lacking warmth and friendliness. One morning, as the first customer of the day, I entered the premises only to be met with indifference from the man and woman at the front desk who continued their conversation without acknowledging me. Disheartened, I left immediately. I have no intentions of returning as their pedicures are subpar, lacking a menu, and lacking thoroughness. They are accommodating, offer reasonable prices, and, most importantly, provide excellent service. They transformed my hair exactly as I envisioned, and crucially, they listened to my desires for my hair. What sets them apart is their dedication to taking time and offering honest advice, especially regarding color and hair care. They never disappoint! Tee Tee is among the finest hairstylists I've ever had the pleasure of entrusting my hair to; I rarely trust others with my hair, but I trust them completely! Keep up the fantastic work, Tee Tee :)

Toni did an absolutely incredible job! She is extremely knowledgeable about working with thin and fine hair. I got a root touch up, cut, and style, and my hair looks adorable and incredibly shiny! I loved everything about the experience. The only minor issue was that my scalp itched like crazy after the color application. I forgot to mention to Toni that I have a sensitive scalp and usually use a soy-based product. Fortunately, their product only needed 10 minutes to set, so the discomfort was a small price to pay for the beautiful outcome. Next time, I'll make sure not to wash my hair for a few days before the coloring session! I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Toni!

I have frequented this establishment sporadically over the past 15-20 years. Lee is always willing to accommodate my last-minute requests for a wash, deep conditioning, blowout, flat iron, or curls. Engaging conversations, I always look forward to my visits here.
