The Home Depot

Purchased two doors totaling over $4500. The first set of installers did a fantastic job. However, the second door was installed by a single individual who did a poor job. The handle for the interior door was broken, the door was scuffed, and there were issues with chalking and screws penetrating the siding and wood. When I approached the associates to address these concerns and showed them pictures of the issues, I was met with a negative attitude from one of the female associates. This is not the first time I have witnessed her unprofessional behavior, and perhaps she is not suited for customer service. She suggested using a magic eraser for the scuff marks, but failed to address the more significant issue of the security door not closing properly. I have been waiting for 10 days for someone to come and rectify these problems, which I find to be an unreasonable delay.

AVOID purchasing paint from this store. The elderly gentleman who manages the paint department is condescending and impolite. When we requested a color match for a can of paint we had bought from him, he provided us with white paint instead of blue. He then proceeded to explain to the male companion I was with, rather than addressing me as the business owner, that lighting can alter the color perception. He refused to take responsibility for his mistake and insisted that the issue was with our perception, not his error. The image shows the blue we requested versus the white paint he provided. He proceeded to raise his voice at me in the store, blaming the lighting and the picture, rather than acknowledging his mistake.

After experiencing storm damage, we needed to rent a chainsaw. The staff at Home Depot in the Cleveland West 1/17 area were incredibly helpful and provided us with everything we needed, including gasoline for the rental. I would highly recommend this Home Depot location for their excellent service and assistance.
