I had a simple hair wash and asked them to blow dry my hair. Not once did they say it was going to cost $60 for a blow dry.... the manager was extremely rude when I questioned the price. I'm on limited income due to medical issues and I'm unable to do my hair so this was very rude that they want to argue when they didn't flat iron it or anything it was a simple blow dry. I used to go to great clips all the time and was only ever charged an extra 5 - 10 dollars for a blow dry. I will never come back to another great clips! That is ridiculous.
Brought in my preteen for a wash and blowout. They hate when I do their hair but like it to look nice for school so we thought this could be an option. The person at the front looked at me like I had two heads and went to ask someone in the back. They came back up and told me I had to brush their hair first and that they wouldn’t condition it. Huh? Their hair isn’t matted or anything - it’s normal, curly hair that I just brushed out this morning.
