One star because zero is not an option. Without a doubt, the ABSOLUTE WORST haircut I have ever received! This was my first time at this salon, and before I could even explain what I wanted, the stylist began cutting my hair haphazardly! The initial cut she made left the hair on top of my head 3 inches short and the sides 1 inch short!! She completely ruined the hairstyle I had been growing for 6 months, leaving me with only 1 inch of hair on each side and 3 inches on top!! I entered with 7 inches of hair all around and exited almost completely bald! I am utterly heartbroken and devastated! Avoid this place unless you desire a bald look!
Oh my word! I took a risk and went to a salon closer to home instead of driving to the city as I usually do for my hair. With my curly hair, I prefer dry cuts over wet cuts. To my delightful surprise, I was matched with the talented stylist, Hayden! She has an incredible understanding of curly hair, both personally and professionally. She is the most welcoming individual I've ever encountered! Hayden asked me numerous questions, showing she genuinely cared about my preferences and past hair experiences. I am amazed that I found a stylist who truly knows how to work with curly hair! I am more than satisfied with the results! Hayden, you are truly exceptional and you have gained a loyal client and friend in me! Thank you for making my first visit to Image Makers Salon extraordinary!
