WOW!!! This spot is like paradise on earth! It's reminiscent of Maui's own miniature Grand Wailea!! And it's locally owned and operated by Alex - who is just the kindest! There's a hot tub, cold plunge, waterfall massagers, saltwater pool, relaxation pool, steam room, yoga room, sauna, and more. After spending an hour at this sanctuary, I feel completely rejuvenated and serene. The day or month pass is incredibly affordable. It's a fraction of the cost of Grand Wailea!! Plus, we get to support local businesses. Skin and Tonic is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable skincare salons I've ever visited - whether on the Island or the mainland. Alex, the aesthetician, is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I visit Maui every June and honestly, one of the highlights is receiving the Micro-current toning facial. I am captivated by its effects on my skin. I ensure to have it every 3 weeks throughout my stay. Spending 4 months under the sun takes a toll on my skin, and I truly feel this treatment helps. Alex offers a variety of services, and though I consider trying something new each time, I simply can't part with my usual choice. Whether you're a visitor or a local, pamper yourself! Initially intrigued by undereye and wrinkle products, but encountered pushy sales tactics from very attractive saleswomen. Despite requesting to purchase only one tube, ended up with a $400 charge for a year's supply. Feeling deceived by the 0.42oz product size.
