I am deeply troubled by the current state of Black salon culture. It is disheartening to witness the challenges women face and the money they invest, only to be met with apathy and negativity. The lack of acknowledgment upon entering, the one-sided conversations - it all leaves me questioning why things are this way. I couldn't even complete my appointment because of the disrespectful way I was spoken to. Customer service is paramount, and Vanessa's performance was severely lacking. There is a need for improvement for the sake of the clientele.
