ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ARACELI!!!! I took my daughter in for a routine haircut (she has been getting monthly trims since she turned 1 and she is now 4). She usually behaves well during haircuts. Araceli displayed rudeness from the start, trying to undermine me when I explained how I wanted my daughter's hair cut. Throughout the haircut, hair kept falling into my daughter's face and eyes. I have never seen so much hair in her face during a haircut. Given my daughter's age, it's natural for her to be bothered by hair in her face and move a bit. Araceli would rudely tell her not to move and even tried to restrict her arms. I stood nearby while she worked, and she abruptly told me to sit down. After she finished, she asked me to check if it was to my liking, which it wasn't. I pointed out areas that needed fixing. When I requested a trim for my daughter's bangs because they were still too long, Araceli started cutting the hair on the top of her head, so I asked her to stop because it was already very short. After attempting to correct it, Araceli removed my daughter's apron as if she was finished. I reminded her that she still needed to fix it, and she retorted that she wasn't done. When I asked why she had removed the apron prematurely, we got into an argument. She kept complaining that my daughter moved too much for a good haircut, something I had never encountered with other stylists. I suggested that she should have been honest about not being skilled in cutting children's hair and had someone else handle it. Another staff member eventually intervened after hearing our heated exchange but offered no assistance. She defended Araceli's poor work, claiming that was their standard practice. By the time we left, my daughter's haircut made her look like a character from a comedy movie. I have never seen a stylist defend such subpar work with such pride. I was furious and immediately went to Premier Cuts where they fixed my daughter's haircut.
We ADORE Great Clips in Kyle, Texas. My stylist is Melissa, and she is EXCEPTIONAL! I have short hair similar to P!nk's, and I am very particular about my haircuts. Melissa actively listens, asks questions, and consistently delivers a perfect cut. Numerous residents in our area also visit this Great Clips in Kyle. Even my neighbor Pete goes to Melissa. While my husband gets his haircut from different stylists, they always do an excellent job. We frequently recommend this Great Clips to others!
