I have frequented this salon for my extensions for seven years, and they consistently deliver exceptional results. Chris, the proprietor, is truly delightful! The team always exhibits professionalism and excels at color matching – a challenging task for my natural red locks! No one ever suspects they are extensions until I disclose it...and then they are astounded! Since my hair is also fine and delicate, extensions have become my indulgence, and I wouldn't consider going elsewhere in the Portland area (trust me, I've explored!). Extensions may not be cheap, but to me, they are absolutely worthwhile, and Mermaid is top-notch!
I specified a particular shade and provided a reference image, yet somehow I left with entirely black hair with two blonde sections in the front. Upon returning to have it corrected, rectifying black dye is a lengthy process, and I was shelling out over $900 per appointment there. I remained a loyal patron for years and adored the salon, but after spending $5k to rectify their error, which I am STILL paying off two years later, I am quite upset.
My visit to Mermaid hair extensions in Kirkland was truly exceptional! The entire team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The establishment is pristine and well-maintained. The service was prompt yet thorough. The staff is highly knowledgeable. I will certainly be returning!!!!
