Saucha stands out as one of the premier salons in NEPA. I've been a loyal client of Cindy, the owner, for over 15 years. Her work reflects her exceptional standards, and this quality extends to her team as well. While the prices may be slightly higher than other salons in the area, the results are well worth it. Personally, I don't mind paying $55 for a haircut that looks like a $200 one.
Nestled in the United Penn Plaza, Saucha is a hidden gem. Cindy, the owner and master stylist, worked her magic on my hair, leaving it rejuvenated and stylish. Her expertise is matched only by her warm and welcoming demeanor. The salon's ambiance is perfect for a relaxing mid-afternoon retreat.
I was on the hunt for a hairstylist who specializes in curly hair when I stumbled upon this salon. After checking their website and not finding what I needed, I decided to visit in person. I understand the COVID protocols of keeping the door locked until your appointment time, but I felt a bit ignored. It took a while for someone to answer my knock, but I could hear the hustle and bustle inside with hairdryers running, so I waited patiently. When a lady finally opened the door slightly, even though I had my mask on, I explained that I didn't have an appointment but wanted to inquire about making one. Her response was curt, "We're not accepting new clients, have a nice day," before shutting the door. I left feeling disappointed and vowed never to return; they won't be getting my business! A simple apology and explanation would have made all the difference. In less than a minute, I was left utterly bewildered by the lack of empathy. If others love their service, that's great, but their snobbish attitude is not for me!
