I am delighted to share that I have been enjoying my first set of extensions for nearly a year now. While they do experience some shedding, I believe this is normal. The initial set I had was flawless, but the second set initially slipped, which I attribute to excessive conditioner use and frequent hair washing. I have just ordered my new set, and I am incredibly excited to receive them! I have even upgraded to double density and 18 inches! In the past, I have tried other brands like Bella hair extensions, and it was a terrible experience; I had to have them removed after just two days. My first experience with extensions was disappointing. They did not last even two weeks, constantly sliding out of my hair and refusing to hold a curl. After sending them for testing, it was found that a film was present on them. I only used amika brand shampoo and conditioner, nothing else. Despite my extension specialist's efforts to replace them, within less than two weeks, I have already lost seven extensions due to them slipping out. Despite my specialist reaching out to the owner, there has been no response. This experience has been very disheartening and has made me hesitant to try extensions again, even though I trust my specialist's expertise as she has undergone training for this brand and has years of experience.
