Alex's salon is a cool peaceful oasis in Kihei. He is very good, does a great job on my hair every time. Always takes the time to consult and discuss before cutting, He is flexible & accommodating in his scheduling. Plus he's super sweet and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Alex has been cutting my hair for years ---and EVERY SINGLE HAIRCUT I've gotten from him has been tops ---he's a consummate professional and puts his heart and soul into his work. And Alex's not only a very talented hair stylist, he's a wonderful person....whose prices can't be beat!
I wish I could give him more stars. As I write this I don’t want to come across as uncaring. Alex cut his finger as he was cutting my hair. I am completely sympathetic. The hair cut stopped. He said he completed my cut. He could not do my highlights. This I understand - if he needed to attend to his finger. But, my haircut is not done, it is terrible! Alex charged me for a full cut. Very expensive with no washing! He didn’t offer to reschedule to complete highlights. Very strange experience. Just thought it could of been handled better?
