I simply requested a change of toe polish due to my diabetes, as my feet are highly sensitive. It seemed as though they were displeased because I wasn't opting for a full pedicure, resulting in a terrible experience. They persistently pushed for additional services like eyebrow treatments, displaying a lack of professionalism. Moreover, they engaged in derogatory conversations about Black individuals in their native language (Korean).
While I acknowledge that a minor nail repair may not be the salon's specialty, professionalism, courtesy, and respect should always be non-negotiable. I have no intention of returning to this establishment, not because of the service quality, but due to the disrespectful treatment I received upon entering. If it were possible, I would rate this salon with zero stars. 😔
I had an appointment at this nail salon earlier today. I waited for what felt like an eternity before they finally attended to me. They unexpectedly switched nail technicians on me, and the end result was not satisfactory. When I raised my concerns with the manager, she completely disregarded me and continued conversing in their native language. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, and in response, she made a derogatory remark, stating, "you Asians are too demanding." I was left feeling humiliated and deeply offended, so much so that I simply handed over my payment card. As she processed the transaction, she continued hurling insults in their language. I have never experienced such discrimination in all my years living in the United States.
