I have known Kori for 10+ years and they have been doing my hair for around 5 yrs. Yesterday I went to get a cut and foils and I brought my child with me. They are 5 and autistic and are usually very well behaved. But sometimes public spaces can be a little overwhelming for them. The few times when they did not wish to follow us around the salon (to wash my hair for instance) the other stylists and Kori kept an eye on them while they sat in a small chair I brought for them right by the station we were at. All of the stylists were so kind, smiled, and interacted with my child and I. It felt SO NICE to feel included and welcomed. Love Dollhouse and especially love my pal Kori! 🩷
I’ve always struggled to find a nice hairstylist that knew how to work with extremely curly hair without damaging it, until I was recommended Bella from Doll House Hair Salon. I had the best experience with them, they were very sweet, very knowledgeable about their work, they listened to me and automatically knew what I wanted. The results were amazing!! exactly what I wanted, the vibes in the salon were great everyone was so nice and had smiles on their faces, overall AMAZING service!! Definitely coming back. A hundred percent recommend!!
I am sharing my best friend (who is too shy to say anything) And my experience with The Doll House. How this establishment has been open for so long is beyond me. Last week my best friend went to the Doll house to get a trim and an undercut. It's hot out, so the undercut is to help with her extremely thick hair. If the stylist can't perform the most basic of cuts, they should have said so because now I ( I am not a professional, btw, I'm just not a complete idiot like whoever at this establishment tried to cut my friends hair) have to try and fix this line up with my husband's beard trimmer. It's so jagged and uneven, it looks like a 6 year old did it. It's so bad I would believe a drunk person did it over a professional, yet here we are. They were so upset, they refuse to go back, or to tell me who the con-artist is that botched their hair up so terribly. And I ALWAYS TOLD THEM to steer clear of that place because in 2013 I had booked a hair appointment for my WEDDING weeks in advance only for them to call me the day of and tell me they overbooked and my appointment was canceled! CANCELED!!! ON MY WEDDING DAY of all days! I wasn't offered ANYTHING to make it up to me, so I always swore these crooks off for good. And then my best friend made the same mistake. I normally don't leave bad reviews. But I am hoping that I can save another victim from being maimed at the hands of a hair stylist with NO business being a hair stylist. #CLOSEDOWNTHEDOLLHOUSE
