I have been a loyal customer of this salon for over three years, always booking my appointments with Anna. While I appreciate Anna's excellent service, I have had some concerning experiences that I feel compelled to share. About a year ago, I had a pedicure that resulted in a severe allergic reaction on my toes. The skin around my toenails became red, swollen, and itchy, eventually peeling and cracking. Despite my discomfort, I did not address this issue with the salon. Recently, I have experienced a similar reaction on my fingernails after getting acrylic nails and shellac done. The itching, burning, swelling, and peeling around the nail bed have been consistent and troubling. I suspect it may be a reaction to the products used during the manicures. I must share my experience, though not pleasant. Initial visit lacked warmth, yet pedicure was satisfactory. Despite this, we returned. However, recent visit left much to be desired. Service lacked enthusiasm. Tool mishap left foot numb for weeks. Manicure barely lasted a week. Appointment with doctor scheduled. I have known Kori for 10+ years and they have been doing my hair for around 5 yrs. Yesterday I went to get a cut and foils and I brought my child with me. They are 5 and autistic and are usually very well behaved. But sometimes public spaces can be a little overwhelming for them. The few times when they did not wish to follow us around the salon (to wash my hair for instance) the other stylists and Kori kept an eye on them while they sat in a small chair I brought for them right by the station we were at. All of the stylists were so kind, smiled, and interacted with my child and I. It felt SO NICE to feel included and welcomed.
