I used to adore visiting this place, but not anymore. During my last visit, I waited for 10 minutes and shelled out 10 dollars only to receive a lukewarm, overly sweet mess that I ended up tossing. The person at the cash register still seems clueless about operating it and takes forever to prepare a simple drink without even washing their hands, despite the store being empty. They still insist on asking for your name, even though the era of covid precautions is behind us, making it completely unnecessary. I'm not sure if they've switched to lower-quality ingredients or if their standards have just plummeted that much, but I left feeling extremely let down. It appears that the owners are quite snarky and struggle to handle criticism, as evidenced by some cringeworthy responses to reviews.
Could you please ensure that the blender is cleaned more thoroughly? There's a risk of botulism if it's not. Despite this concern, I still enjoy my smoothie, haha. The staff member is nice, and the ambiance is great. Just a gentle reminder to pay a bit more attention to cleanliness. I tend to be a bit of a germaphobe.
The ambiance is fantastic, and the owners are friendly. This is hands down the best cup of coffee I've ever had - I will definitely be returning.
