Today marked my fourth or fifth visit to this spot. As usual, I went with my partner to pick up a new facial moisturizer for him, but things took a turn at checkout. Everything went smoothly until we got to the register. Two workers were there, and when we asked about a product, one of them went to check for more stock, leaving us with the other worker. As we waited, I roamed around and picked up a small moisturizer I had used before to let my partner test it. I dabbed a bit on his hand, and the worker left at the register snapped aggressively, "That's not a tester," before asking if we wanted to buy it. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and her eyes conveyed irritation despite her mask.
