This has to be the worst acrylic nail job I've ever witnessed. My son & nephew both had their full sets put on very sloppily by the female tech. I'm not sure she thought she could give them half professional service because they are young teenagers but this was INCREDIBLY disappointing. My nephew's polish was so sloppy & thick that it looked like he did it himself. She even had an attitude when we said something & the male tech said he would redo it. I give them points for making good on redoing the gel polish for him & making it right but 4 of his nails popped off just 5 days later - this is not his first time having acrylic nails, so we cant say he doesn't know how to care for them. My son had a nail pop off at the 7 day mark. This is ridiculous & a complete waste of money. Never again.
I have been here twice and had service done by the man who runs this business. The third has made me want to take my dollars elsewhere. I came in for sculptured nails today 21/11/2022. A Hispanic man walked in half an hour after me and was able to be serviced before me. The owner stated he had an appointment. When I tried to make an appointment months ago, I was told there were no appointments, first come first served. So I Left! My wife called to make me an appointment and we were told there are NO APPOINTMENTS! The only reason he pushed me off, the owner explained because the Hispanic man was a regular. I see this goes on a lot down here especially in this area. I am a paying customer and that’s all that should matter. I guess I will travel down to Charlotte from now on.
I LOVE LUCAS!!! He is the best at doing my nails. He is also very quick and efficient, but that doesn't take away from the quality of his work or the beauty of the finished product. Shop is clean and orderly and they have TONS of polish options. He is very sweet and likes to get to know his clients. Nails by Lucas is the only place I will go for my nails.
