This experience was the most rejuvenating 45 minutes I've had in quite some time. I underwent a hair wash and cut, and I could tangibly feel every muscle in my shoulder unwind as Mallory's hands worked through my hair. It was akin to a soothing massage. I even jokingly inquired about the cost if I were to solely come in for a hair wash by her. The actual haircut itself was surprisingly calming. I never knew such a thing was possible, but the ambient music and tranquil setting made it so. Although I hadn't requested a serene appointment, when I mentioned my desire to unwind, Mallory instinctively created a peaceful atmosphere and allowed me to relax. The haircut rectified a previous styling mishap from another salon and surpassed my expectations. Additionally, Mallory demonstrated thoughtfulness by blow-drying my hair for an extended period to minimize loose hairs on my skin, considering my sensory sensitivity. When I showered later, there were hardly any remnants. I wholeheartedly recommend both the salon and Mallory in particular.

This establishment stands out in Kalamazoo for maintaining stringent mask protocols. They have implemented air filtration systems, added filters to the HVAC setup, and require masks for all staff members. While vaccinated individuals are not obligated to wear masks, the employees wear them consistently throughout the day. As someone at high risk, I deeply appreciate this precautionary measure.

Mallory excels at styling the hair of both my teenage child and offspring. Adolescents can be quite particular about their hair, as any parent knows. Both my offspring appreciate how Mallory attentively listens to their preferences and consistently delivers exceptional results.
