I must say, I am a critical reviewer and I rarely give a single star unless it is truly warranted. This establishment, however, more than meets the criteria. The moment the massage began, a timer was set and if anyone interrupted, the masseuse would leave without pausing the timer. Instead of providing a soothing massage, she relentlessly pressed her elbow into my already tender areas, causing me to regret my decision to come here. Such forceful pushing and squeezing is not what I expected from a massage. To make matters worse, she left the room twice to attend to others, leaving me questioning why I stayed. Upon settling the bill with $60.00 in cash, the masseuse then had the audacity to demand a 20% tip. Consider yourself forewarned.

My daughter and I visited this establishment, both paying $25.00 for a table massage. Upon entering for our massages, the therapist attempted to seat one of us in a massage chair and the other on the table, despite us both paying for the same service. I clarified that we had both paid the same amount. She then turned to my daughter and claimed she had only given her $20.00. Despite my daughter's insistence and multiple explanations, showing her the money which totaled $50.00, the therapist continued to argue. Frustrated by her obstinate attitude, I placed the money on the table, highlighting that it amounted to $50.00, as per her own price list indicating equal services for the same price. She persisted, asserting that my daughter had only given $20.00. While the monetary difference was minor, it was her arrogant demeanor that was intolerable. I collected the money, stashed it in my purse, and declared my decision to forego the massage, walking out. As my daughter prepared to leave, the therapist insisted that she still owed $5.00. I will be seeking a different massage venue in Johnstown for our next session. If it were possible, I would assign zero stars to this establishment.

I paid for my mother and myself to each receive a 30-minute massage. It has been nearly five days now, and I refrained from commenting earlier as I was informed that some discomfort post-massage is normal. However, I have been experiencing muscle spasms since Monday, along with bruises on my ankles, creating an incredibly uncomfortable and unpleasant sensation. My mother described feeling as though a rolling pin was being used on her, with the masseuse's elbow bone causing discomfort throughout the entire session.
