My daughter and I visited this salon together, and it was her first time getting her nails done. Although she is pleased with the outcome, she described the technician's method as abrasive, resulting in raw skin around some nails. My own experience was also unsatisfactory; while the pedicure was acceptable, I faced repeated requests to change my nail color without clear explanation. Due to the language barrier, I was unable to comprehend the reasoning behind these requests, ultimately leaving without the desired service. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this establishment.
I have been frequenting this establishment for over a year and a half, exclusively having my pedicures done by the talented individual named Kim. We have developed a strong rapport, as she consistently delivers exceptional results tailored to my preferences. However, the proprietor, known as Jason, has displayed discourteous behavior on several recent occasions. During my visit yesterday, Kim was absent, prompting me to consider another technician due to an upcoming wedding. To my dismay, Jason approached me in front of other patrons, loudly insisting that I wait for Kim's return as no one else would meet my standards. Despite maintaining composure, I was deeply hurt by his repeated rudeness and lack of respect. I am a loyal customer who generously tips Kim for her excellent service, and I find it disheartening that Jason selectively chooses whom to treat kindly, regardless of their patronage.
I have been driving half an hour to this salon faithfully because I found a nail technician I trust. Lately, the male owner has been selective about who can attend to me. I have observed him assigning a novice technician to me while giving an experienced professional to a Caucasian client. I hold no bias against trainees, but it is disheartening when I receive subpar service. I simply requested a fill-in and nail trimming, yet the pricing has fluctuated from $30 to $45 without justification. Despite the inconsistency in pricing, I am willing to pay for quality service. I am thoroughly disappointed by this experience.
