Thank you, I also had a negative experience there two years ago. The place was very unclean. They only accepted cash to avoid reporting income for tax purposes.
Yesterday was a horrible experience. My husband, who recently underwent hip surgery and now uses a walker, faced difficulties getting into the pedicure chair. The owners, a husband and wife, were extremely rude. They refused service to my husband and gestured for us to leave. We were both humiliated as all he needed was a bit of assistance getting into the chair. I am currently in the process of filing an ADA complaint. There was no justification for their behavior. This establishment is not accommodating to individuals with disabilities and is violating ADA laws. I strongly advise finding another salon.
It’s my birthday weekend and my mom set an appointment up for my grandma and me. We arrived a minute late and they were very rude when they contacted my mom. When my grandma sat down, the technician was EXTREMELY ROUGH with her delicate hands. While waiting for my appointment, they seated someone else and I stepped outside to chat with my mom and my child. The receptionist came out and informed me that they couldn’t do my nails. Upon returning inside to inform my grandma, I witnessed the technician handling her nails roughly despite my advice to be gentle. They selected a color for her without her input, and when we chose a rock star red, they used a different shade of orange-red, which was not what she desired. It was a terrible experience. I don't want to disclose my grandma's age, but at 87, she used to do nails in Amador County, so the rough treatment of an elderly woman with prior nail experience is inexcusable. She ended up paying $40 for something she didn't want, which was uncomfortable and distressing for her. Never again will we visit Organic Nails.
