Absolutely adore this salon, it's my top pick in the area. The ambiance is calming, the environment is clean, and the staff are friendly and engaging. Unlike other salons where I feel ignored and rushed, here they take their time, ensure my satisfaction, and pay attention to detail. I will definitely be a returning customer and will recommend this place to all my friends. Tony is my preferred nail technician, his work is exceptional! Steven is also a talented nail artist, and Amber's work is beautiful although I haven't personally tried her services.
I visited Opulent for the first time today. The establishment was spotless and the nail technician was very pleasant. However, I opted for a full set with dip powder in a single color, black. I asked for a ballerina-style filing, but she seemed unfamiliar with the term. The result was a mix of coffin and squared shapes, with crooked and poorly filed nails. Some parts were left unpainted, while others had dip powder on my cuticles and fingers. The application lacked a proper dip top coat and was dried under a nail dryer for 10 minutes, leaving a dull finish with peeling top coat. The sloppy job is difficult to remove, contrary to what was promised. I feel like my 12-year-old granddaughter could have done a neater and better job. The $70 I paid, $55 for the service and a $15 tip, was not worth it. I regret not waiting for an appointment at my usual salon. I am deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone. The lack of professionalism and poor execution are unacceptable. I believe I am entitled to a full refund.
