Jessica efficiently coordinated our wedding party appointments at the spa. The experience was serene and delightful, with attentive therapists, a beautiful atmosphere, and charming nearby shops to explore.
I indulged in a full spa day with a 90-minute massage, scalp massage, 60-minute facial, and spa pedicure. My appointment was set for 11:30, but I arrived at 11:35. There was only one receptionist, causing a 10-minute delay in check-in, handled not by the receptionist but by my masseur. The massage began around 11:50, and I left the room at 1:17 PM. Upon questioning, the receptionist agreed to reduce my 90-minute massage to 60 minutes. However, complications arose during my facial when the receptionist interrupted, claiming I was late and refusing to adjust the timing. Alexa excelled in the facial, showcasing expertise and a pleasant demeanor. Eke delivered an exceptional spa pedicure. At check-out, my services totaled $290. I requested a 20% tip for each staff member, expecting a total charge of $36 after using a $15 gift card. After a payment discrepancy, the receptionist corrected the amount. Despite the rushed massage and receptionist errors, the services were generally enjoyable, but the lack of organization dampened the experience.
Escape Day Spa in Homewood off Oxmoor Road is a gem worth visiting. Despite multiple visits, I've never left a review until now. Attending their events and taking advantage of Black Friday deals is a must. I've tried facials and massages, and I must say, the massages, especially with NITA, are exceptional. NITA's skilled hands exude a passion for her work, leaving me in a state of pure relaxation and bliss after each session. She customizes the massage, addressing any concerns and using aromatic oils, hot towels, and stones to release tension. Words can hardly capture her talent and the rejuvenating experience she provides. The owners and staff, including the amazing sisters and lash studio next door, create a welcoming environment.
