We reserved 6 months before, and fortune favored us! Our guide/pilot Alex was kind, knowledgeable, and patient! Upon landing, we were welcomed by a mother bear and her 3 cubs. The weather was delightful, 60 degrees and sunny! Make sure to plan your visit around the fish run schedule! Remember to eat before heading out as there is no food available on the trail; you can store food at the Ranger station. It was a bit buggy, so I suggest bringing a bug net as bug spray might not be effective.
