I will attempt to keep this brief. I visited Spruce for a consultation regarding my stomach stretch marks and scar tissue. During the consultation, I was informed that my stretch marks were not severe and that I would see significant improvements with Morpheus8 for the scar tissue. Initially, I was told I would need only 3 sessions. However, those 3 sessions turned into numerous ones that I lost count of. For me, the treatments were extremely painful, and the recovery process was lengthy and agonizing! Having given birth to three children naturally, I could hardly endure the pain during the treatments! The "numbing" cream had no effect on me whatsoever! At my last appointment, I expressed my frustration to the practitioner who had been performing the treatments, stating that after all these sessions, I had seen NO change. Thankfully, she empathized with me and acknowledged the lack of progress. She admitted she was unsure why we had not seen results and promised to discuss it with the owner. I have spent over a thousand dollars on these treatments only to be told, "I'm sorry, we cannot offer a refund," and "I don't understand why this did not work for you; you are the only client this has not worked on for me." Still feeling incredibly self-conscious about my stomach, I now have to seek treatment elsewhere and spend hundreds of dollars to achieve the results promised by Spruce. The owner made me feel invalidated and attempted to gaslight me by sending a picture of my stomach that did not accurately represent my stretch marks. When I sent her actual photos of my stomach, she ceased all communication. Additionally, my husband underwent microneedling on his face at Spruce (before I realized the treatments were ineffective for me). He had severe acne in his youth, resulting in scarring he wanted to address. The same practitioner who treated me performed his microneedling. After several weeks, he experienced a breakout like never before (painful and large acne), leading him to start taking Accutane due to the microneedling. I showed her images of his facial reaction and received the same response ("I don't know why this happened to him; this has never occurred with any of my clients." "You both are a unique case"). This entire ordeal was excruciatingly painful and distressing! I strongly advise against choosing Spruce for any treatments! If you are willing to spend thousands of dollars on ineffective treatments and receive responses like "sorry, no refunds," then this is the place for you!
