Metropolitan Nails

Managed to secure a same-day appointment in the late afternoon for a gel manicure. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The manicure was efficiently done and turned out beautifully. Although I'm not a hand model, having my nails look good brings me joy.

For African Americans, this may not be the ideal spot. I decided to give it a try due to its proximity to my new residence and early opening hours. Unfortunately, the customer service was subpar, the staff was impolite, and they spoke about me in Spanish. The technicians argued over who would assist me and rushed to help others. The individual who attended to me seemed inexperienced and lacked knowledge. They neglected to clean underneath my nails until I requested it, and even then, only did a quick swipe under two nails. It was evident that the service was rushed, especially as I observed the person next to me receiving a more leisurely treatment. I stayed solely to avoid causing a scene, as I felt it would have been expected of me, and I was unfamiliar with other salons in the area. Fortunately, while exploring my neighborhood later that evening, I came across two other salons nearby that open at noon. I am willing to wait the two hours for a better experience.

Reasonably priced, with a welcoming staff, and consistently pleased with the final outcome. They even offer a rewards program. What more could you desire from a nail salon?
