Such a delightful country, the event was fantastic 'Jerk Festival'. I would absolutely attend annually. The individuals were welcoming and the ambiance was incredibly pleasant.
Gorgeous park to enjoy an evening. They offer two small kids' play zones. Ample space for strolling along the river. A large amphitheater. The park is well-kept, yet individuals tend to litter. There's a significant amount of litter near the children's play area and on the walking paths. The bridges and pathways are exquisite. There's a boathouse, but it's uncertain if they rent boats. A great spot for fishing too. We observed numerous people fishing.
This park is a charming spot right by the Raritan River. After recent floods, this area suffered significant damage. However, the city has done a remarkable job in its restoration. The historical sections have been preserved, especially the Northern Terminus of the D&R Canal. The Class of 1914 Boathouse has also been restored to its original grandeur. Certain parts of the park (along the river) are overgrown with weeds and may harbor ticks. It's advisable to wear long sleeves and pants when visiting.
