The top choice in the city, My hair was down to my waist and I had them cut off 8 inches of length, they did an amazing job! They asked me 3 times on the way to the chair if I was sure about cutting that much off, I said yes... On a second visit, a different young woman was there and all I wanted was my bangs cut and that's exactly what I got both times. I had an excellent experience with both women, very kind and polite. I highly recommend Salon M for all your beauty needs. I am extremely particular about my nails, and they did an exceptional job here! I have been to numerous nail salons in the vicinity, and this one is among the top, if not the best. Generally adore Ulta but this shop lacked some major labels it ought to have had ample stock in, and finding someone to actually help me was tough. I spent $100+ but could’ve easily spent more with proper aid and stock. I’ll visit Sephora next time.

Yesterday, I needed a quick trim and saw a sign saying walk-ins welcome at the salon. There were two stylists available. The whole team was friendly, and the ambiance was warm. The haircut was decent but not exceptional. I plan to return.

I had an appointment in the city and decided to pop in for a gel pedicure. The service was outstanding. The staff were so kind, sweet, and welcoming. The atmosphere was pristine and inviting, and the team was incredibly accommodating and patient with my queries as it was my first visit. I will definitely be back. To get to Hello Sugar | Hickory Brazilian Wax & Sugar Salon at UPPER LEVEL, 254 Union Square NW, Hickory, NC 28601, United States by public transport, take bus number 3 from the nearest bus stop to Union Square NW. If driving, head north on Main Street, turn left onto 3rd Avenue NW, then turn right onto Union Square NW.

This was my inaugural visit to this salon, and it shall be my final one! My regular nail salon was shut on New Year’s Day.
I enquired about the cost of S & S from a staff member, and was informed it would be 46.00.
Additionally, I opted for an eyebrow waxing service which was priced at 12.00.
Upon completion of both services, I proceeded to settle the bill, only to be charged 69.50. When inquiring about the nail service cost, I was told it was 56.00.
I expressed my confusion, mentioning that I was informed it would be 46.00. The response I received was that the higher price was due to a different nail shape. An additional 11.50 was charged for a change in nail shape!! This is outrageous!!! Most places do not levy an extra fee for such a minor alteration. I shall never return to this establishment! The exorbitant charge for a simple nail shape change is utterly preposterous!!
