The quality of their hair services is commendable, but the prices are exorbitant. I inquired about getting two-strand braids, and they quoted me a staggering $230, which was absolutely outrageous.
AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COSTS*****, I recently had my hair done about 2 and a half weeks ago and noticed that my hair was coming out of the braid. The braid was hanging on by a single strand of hair, despite my naturally long and thick hair. My hair was essentially intertwined with the braiding hair and no longer connected to my scalp. I could effortlessly pull the braid out, leaving me with no hair in the back. I am unsure if it was their braiding technique or the type of braiding hair used, but it caused severe damage to my hair. I am infuriated and will never return or spend my money there again. The service was abysmal, the prices were exorbitant, and the staff were incredibly rude. Never again will I patronize this establishment.
I have frequented this establishment for approximately 4 years without any issues, BUT I typically had Aisha attending to my hair. However, on my recent visit with a different stylist, my ends turned out terribly. They appeared rushed and unkempt, as my grandmother would say. The next day, I returned to see if any adjustments could be made, and Aisha was very accommodating. However, the individual who styled my hair poorly had the audacity to become loud and disrespectful towards me! She suggested that I take out the hairstyle myself for a refund, offering me scissors and a comb. I was taken aback by her behavior. I am not one to usually complain, but I had spent $230 on a hairstyle that resembled something a child could have done. Aisha, the owner, invited me back that Saturday and rectified the situation. Hopefully, Aisha will grow tired of fixing mistakes made by other stylists and consider starting her own business.
