I had a wedding and work event to attend so I booked with one of the owners to ensure my hair looked perfect. I left looking worse than when I sat down. I understand mistakes happen but she washed, dried, and styled my hair without mentioning the banding and bleeding her highlights caused. I'll post the photos below. I wish she had offered to fix it because I spent over $350 in one week with her service and the next, double highlighting my hair.
Kyleigh is a hair magician! If you want a cut and color that feels effortless, grows out naturally, and even gets better as it grows, KYLEIGH IS YOUR GIRL! I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair ever!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience here last night. My hair is nothing like what Kyleigh and I discussed. I mentioned that I liked the color of my hair but felt it had a slight red tone, and she agreed it was brassy. We talked about whether I wanted it more ashy or a rich chocolate color (I'm a brunette), and I chose a rich chocolate like a Hershey chocolate bar. We also discussed a trim, and I agreed to 1/2"-1" off. If she felt it needed to be more, I trusted her judgment. I mentioned I only wanted long layers around my face as I've been growing it out. The process felt rushed but straightforward. I should have trusted my gut feeling. My hair is now so dark it's almost black, which I can adjust to and will lighten since it's a gloss, but still not as we discussed. The cut is the worst part. She took off about 4" and added so many layers EVERYWHERE, some even 2" shorter. They're not long layers, not around my face, just choppy and awful. My hair is now much shorter and thinner. There was dye on the sides of my face, showing how rushed it was. It's not what we discussed at all. I said it looked nice, paid, and left because I didn't trust it could be fixed. I was so upset as I had been trying to grow my hair long and thick, and it was ruined yesterday. I'll have to cut off at least another 2" to fix this mess. I wanted a refund but felt judged at the salon. You can see the choppy layers in the pictures. If you like that look, go see her because she is a sweet girl.
