I was not particularly impressed with my visit to this salon. I was already considering leaving before I even sat down in the chair. The owner reprimanded me for opening nail polish bottles to check the colors. Another customer left midway through her service to pay the parking meter but returned with food. The owner attempted to charge me $30 for an acrylic fill and gel polish. When I questioned the pricing, citing that a friend had received a full set for $32, I was informed that the cost was higher due to the length of my nails and an additional charge for trimming. The nails did not appear significantly shorter after the trim, and had I known about the extra charge, I would have requested a more substantial reduction in length. As I prepared to settle the bill, I was informed that returning customers received a discounted rate of $25. I was then given a $3 reduction and an additional $2 off for paying in cash. Furthermore, there were remnants of polish left on my skin near the nails that I had to clean up myself. Given these factors, I would have preferred to visit a different salon, such as Lucky Nails down the street, which offers a more pleasant experience.
