I had my child's nails done for prom. The first one fell off within 4 days, which they fixed. The very next day, a second one fell off without her even noticing. Typically, if a nail comes off so soon after being done, it can be quite painful. However, she felt no discomfort. While they looked nice on the day of prom, paying $40 for nails that didn't last a week seems unreasonable. It's puzzling why they came off like cheap press-on nails. Every previous visit resulted in a great job, but this time was a letdown.
The individual hurried and did a subpar job. They were also extremely impolite. For $50, it was a total rip-off. No one in our household will ever utilize their services again. Throughout the entire experience, they made snide comments and displayed unprofessional behavior. It's unbelievable that this is permissible.
I had my nails done by the person, all I wanted was a simple matte black coffin shape, but not only were they excessively thick, they were also uneven. I mentioned that they were too thick, but they insisted that they had to be that way to avoid breakage. My fingers were in pain due to the sloppy work. I not only wasted $40 on the "service" but also an additional $50 to have them removed. Moreover, they made a highly inappropriate remark about my 7-8 month old niece, suggesting to buy her for $50,000 and receive free nail services. Whether it was intended as a joke or not, such comments are unacceptable.
