I phoned at 6 pm to inquire about a haircut appointment for the same evening. The person on the line asked me to wait while they checked with the hairstylist if I could come in, which I assumed was approved. They then asked how quickly I could arrive, to which I responded in 10 minutes as I live nearby. I was given the green light to come in. Arriving within 5 minutes, I went upstairs and informed them that I had been told to come in. They looked me up and down, conversed in their language, and the person refused, claiming they were fully booked. They then suggested I try another salon across the street for a haircut. I am of Asian descent (originating from Pakistan). This behavior is extremely unethical and humiliating. If they cater to specific clients based on attire or cultural background, they should clarify this before scheduling appointments, inviting clients, and then rejecting them, leading to embarrassment.
