I messed up my nails following a poor recommendation from a beauty store. I decided to visit a beauty school, knowing it was run by students, just to get a simple treatment to help me stop biting my nails. Despite past bad experiences, I went in with a positive attitude. Bela did an INCREDIBLE job! She selected a beautiful dark blue color and added accent nails. She was very friendly and made sure I was happy with my nails at every stage.
The nail work I received was subpar - my nails are chipping and breaking. I went in with my nails in good shape, but left having to file them and apply a layer of regular nail polish over my gel polish just to prevent further chipping until I can get them fixed elsewhere. The training they provide seems outdated and in need of an update. They should modernize their educational curriculum, as it still seems stuck in the 1990s. I won't be returning there for any beauty services... I feel bad for the students paying for these courses, as many of them may not be adequately prepared for the industry.
