I'm so thankful for Alex and his expertise in locs for all hair types I literally got turned away from starting my locs at three places before finding Alex. During our appointment he had such a laid back vibe and informative approach to what would work for my hair and debunking all the mixed info I saw online about locs. He gave me a larger perspective and taught me about the multicultural aspect and how I shouldn't be fazed by the few that just don't know any better than to project onto people about cultural appropriation. He was welcoming, informative, overall a good conversationalist, punctual and professional! I found my loc specialist and I'm not going anywhere else!!!
Very impressed with Alex and his skills. I’m 5mnths in and today I met with him for a consult. He took one of my locs and transformed it. It’s beautiful, exactly what I want. 4/5 only because I got one done today vs the other 42 that I have. I’m sure he is my new guy! Very excited to go back.
Dreadzilla is so informative and helpful!!! There is so much mixed information and contradicting advice online and with different locticians I reached out to. My soul was yearning for a connection to my roots, I'm not the type to let just anyone touch my hair and vibes are just essential. Alex was my guiding light and committed to helping me understand my unique hair type and what methods would work for me. His approach to locs is very holistic like and he's just such a wholehearted and mindful person, a pleasure to be around and I'll definitely be going to him every month for maintenance!!!
