I visited for a massage with my partner today, having been multiple times before without issue. However, this time was a complete disaster. The staff's inability to communicate in English made it challenging to convey preferences and concerns. While language barriers are understandable, basic massage terminology should be a requirement for employees in this industry. The therapist applied excessive pressure on my back, using incorrect techniques that only caused muscle strain. Despite my attempts to explain the issue, there was no comprehension. I try not to complain, but the quality was subpar considering the high cost of the service. During our couple's massage, the therapists chatted and giggled incessantly, preventing any chance of relaxation. It was a disappointing waste of money. To top it off, the only clear communication was their expectation of a $20.00 tip. It's absurd that anything less would lead to dissatisfaction, with no gratitude for even a $10 or $15 tip. Unacceptable.
