I've visited FS before without any issues. This time, I sought help with my grays and was advised to go for a partial highlight. I absolutely despise how my hair turned out! I wasn't expecting perfection, given the transition from dark to highlights, but ending up with orange hair was not what I had in mind at all!
My spouse and I relocated to the region about half a year ago and have visited the salon three times now, leaving each time happier than before. Liz has assisted us on all three occasions. The staff here is fantastic, a group of highly professional and courteous women.
I must say, you get what you pay for. The service was dreadful. The manager who did my hair left me in the tub for around 45 minutes while attending to another client. Then, she had another stylist wash my hair. I then waited for an additional 40 minutes in the styling chair, having to dry my hair with a towel by myself. When my stylist returned, she noted a rash on my skin (a reaction to the toner due to incomplete rinsing) and mentioned how tangled my hair was. To top it off, when it came time to pay, she informed me of an extra $5-10 charge because she's not just a regular stylist. What was supposed to be a simple highlight turned into a 2-hour and 35-minute ordeal costing $170. Lesson learned, won't be returning.
