I spent $180.00 on eyelash extensions, but three days later, they started falling off. When I returned to the salon to address the issue, Lisa, without even inspecting my lashes or inquiring about the problem, questioned why I hadn't spoken up earlier. This confrontation occurred in front of other customers, leaving me upset. I had been a loyal customer for years, never paying less than $75.00 for services. Lisa seemed to insinuate that I was seeking something for free. When I returned a week later to show her the state of my lashes, she quoted me $30.00 to remove them. Other customers were shocked to see how sparse my lashes had become within a week of the expensive application. Lisa claimed she was too busy to remove them and couldn't provide a timeframe for when I could come back. Today marked my second visit to Contemporary Nail Lounge and once again I am extremely satisfied with their service. Everyone there is very friendly and easy to converse with. I usually opt for gel nails with gel polish and a pedicure. There is no pressure to try anything different or additional. The salon is brand new and impeccably clean. Look nowhere else, this is hands down the ultimate threading experience I've ever encountered!! I've been getting my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for nearly a decade, and Ushi surpasses all. Unbelievably, she doesn't even cause my eyes to water, especially during the upper lip threading! Don't hesitate, go see her - you won't regret it! My daughter took me to have my nails done. Upon arrival, I inquired about the prices as she was covering the cost and she is only 12 years old. We were informed that a gel manicure was $35, snowflake design was $25, and a regular pedicure (non-gel) was $35. My daughter had long nails and showed a picture of the desired design. However, the technician filed her nails extremely short, deviating from the image she presented. After applying just one coat, the technician paused to explain the situation. They insisted on charging $35 for gel and suggested returning the next day for acrylics at a cost of $100, despite her nails being lengthy upon arrival. There was no mention of crediting the $35 if she returned the following day. The service was abysmal as they rushed through, eager to leave despite our 6 p.m. appointment.About
