My daughter took me to have my nails done. Upon arrival, I inquired about the prices as she was covering the cost and she is only 12 years old. We were informed that a gel manicure was $35, snowflake design was $25, and a regular pedicure (non-gel) was $35. My daughter had long nails and showed a picture of the desired design. However, the technician filed her nails extremely short, deviating from the image she presented. After applying just one coat, the technician paused to explain the situation. They insisted on charging $35 for gel and suggested returning the next day for acrylics at a cost of $100, despite her nails being lengthy upon arrival. There was no mention of crediting the $35 if she returned the following day. The service was abysmal as they rushed through, eager to leave despite our 6 p.m. appointment.
My visit to this establishment was quite disappointing. The proprietor of the place is the most impolite individual I have ever encountered. He mistreats both his staff and patrons. He communicates in a demeaning manner and views his employees in a negative light if they engage in conversation. This was my inaugural and final visit to this place. The atmosphere becomes tense due to his disapproving glances at anyone speaking. On numerous occasions, he may cast doubt or create issues when selecting a hue. I have no intention of revisiting this establishment, and I sincerely hope he improves his behavior. The nail technician who attended to me was very pleasant, but she seemed apprehensive and anxious whenever I conversed. Towards the end, she raised her voice demanding her area be cleaned even though we weren't finished yet. A truly dreadful place. I strongly advise against it!
