I noticed a banner proclaiming the first wax free, which piqued my interest. Being a newcomer to the European wax center, I eagerly anticipated my visit. Having frequented various waxing establishments, I sought a reliable salon for my waxing needs. Upon arrival, I was informed that a premier wax specialist would be performing my service. As I settled into the room, I was informed that a trainee would be observing. Understanding this as standard practice for complimentary first waxes, I did not object. The waxing procedure was completed satisfactorily, and I was introduced to additional products for hair growth reduction, which I purchased. However, upon reviewing my receipt, I noticed a charge for the wax service. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, she explained that senior wax specialists were not included in the free service. I expressed my confusion as a first-time visitor, unaware of this policy or the staff hierarchy. I inquired why this information was not communicated upon arrival. After a momentary pause, she offered a 50% discount. Despite feeling uncomfortable in the crowded lobby with other customers listening, I paid and left, noting this as a bait-and-switch tactic. I decided not to return to this establishment. I gave them 3 stars for the excellent waxing job, the waxer's pleasant demeanor, and detailed explanations. While the service was good, the business practices were lacking. Proceed with caution.

She thoroughly explained each step beforehand, ensuring my comfort and engaging in conversation throughout the process. Her professionalism and care are the reasons I will be a repeat customer.
